On positive ground, the Athens market continues to move, although with a marginal rise, as the DG receives strong indicators of support while salesmen are re-emerging.
In particular, the General Index negotiates at 2,628 units with +0.2% and increased turnover over 144 million euros due to Metlen, while 20,5 million pieces have been moved.
The banking index moves at 3,051 units with +0.55%, the FTSE of high capitalization at 6,707 mon. with +0.2% and the mid-term FTSEM at 3,160 singles with +0.15%.
More generally, the sitting shows a repetition of yesterday (DG -0.18%) as the time passes the falling titles are increasingly surpassing the upwards, but with the difference now that in the position of Coca Cola yesterday there is Metlen, supporting the market with its rise after the record results announced in the semester.
It also has banks, even selectively (EIB, Alpha) and Jumbo is also positively differentiated. From there on, however, the barrage of positive corporate results in the energy/industrial sector does not seem to give any additional impetus to the market, with investors suggesting that they had already invoiced the strong performance (IDI, Biocos).
At international level, however, risk-taking is generally maintained, as European indicators are currently moving upwards, as are contracts of 2 of the 3 Wall Street indicators (Dow, S&P 500).
Supporting shares also operates the oil that remains in the $80 barrel area or moderately higher, while an Iranian-Ormuz final announcement is now expected for an agreement that will open the Straits of Ormuz, although no details of the points contained have been known.
Moves on the dashboard
Metlen has gradually slowed down, both in performance and turnover, after an explosive first half in which she had made transactions of more than 20m euros with orders reaching up to 52 euros (+10.2%), resulting in probably closing part of short positions in the title.
The share now moves to 48.2 euros with a turnover of 30.1 million euros, after seeing EBITDA in the semester work record levels at 550m euros, with profits of 2.18 euros per share.
Next to it is the EIB that stands out in banks with +1.7%, and Alpha is also boosted by 1%.
On the contrary, Eurobank and Piraeus move slightly corrective about -0.5% both.
Another title that strongly supports the DG is Jumbo, at EUR 25.8 with +1,4%.
Of the remaining titles that announced results in the last few hours, Helleniq Energy is moving steadily with a positive sign even small profits now, with CEO A.Siamis expecting equally good second semester.
However, PPC is retreating to 22.3 to -1.7%, while G. Stassis informed that Continue and mature conversations about Data Center and Biocoal at 18.3 with -2.5% despite strong growth messages sent by its sizes.
The sellers also insist on the ELHA subsidiary moving to -1.8%, while the other of the Cenergy group is marginally uphill.
Losses of over 1% in 25 are also noted by GEK TERNA and EYDAP.
In mid caps Alter Ego continues where she finished yesterday (+5.8%) with a new +2.2% at 6.3 euros, and Ideal is strengthened by 1.9%.
In the total table 52 shares move upwards against 68 pitches.
