At the pace of international correction Athens Avenue was swept away one day after the conquest of 2,500 units, with investor movements focusing mainly on titles that have starred in recent times.
In particular, the General Index was permanently moved with a negative sign and completed transactions essentially on the low day of 2.472,77 units with -1,13%.
The banking index was under the greatest pressure with -2,18% THE 2.822.97 units, the FTSE of high capitalization was torn into 6.277.46 mon. with -1,28%, while the mid-term FTSEM slightly retreated against 0,34% THE 3.179.25 mon.
The turnover was ejected near half a billion – in EUR 482,82 million – with the 152.46 million for the location of Cenergy and still 62.6 million 15 packages for PPC. Overall, the value of the 40 fixed transactions amounted to EUR 227 million, while the volume of trade in the meeting reached EUR 46,64 million pieces.
At international level, with the issue of the war in Iran heading for settlement (or at least for investors to have invoiced this possibility), markets seem to return exactly to where they were before the conflict in the Middle East, i.e. to concerns about the sustainability of the assessments of artificial intelligence and its wider ecosystem (primarily microchip manufacturers, but also Big Tech).
In this climate a technological correction launched yesterday on Wall Street (among others Meta Platforms -2%, Amazon and Alphabet about – 5%) evolved into a massive sell-off this morning in Asia and especially Korea, where Kospi dived 10% (SK Hynix and Samsung both with losses above –12%) and continues with new losses today on Nasdaq.
In this climate, Athens Avenue was harmonised at the pace of the international fall, with investors focusing (absence of high-gravity technological titles on the domestic market) on the state banking sector, which in the last month had almost twice as much efficiency as European (about +16%, compared to +8% of Stoxx Banks).
An effort made in the middle of the meeting to collect losses (high day at 2.490 mon. Shortly after 13:00 with Coca – Cola and AKTOR ahead eventually seemed to trigger a new wave of liquidity, as did a second in the last half-hour with which the DG was removed from its low day, but was cancelled by the final tenders.
In any case, and having very fresh the new milestone of 2,500 units, the correction not only does not concern but probably also provides the necessary entry opportunities that will fuel the rise, especially when it concerns titles with explosive returns in recent times (indicatively today Cenergy, Biocos).
This is, of course, provided that the international technological dip is completed, generally smoothing the investor's disposal (a point of attention is the results that will be announced tomorrow after the closure of Wall the microchip giant Micron, which is currently falling over 9% but with the explosive +324% on its back in 2026).
Moves on the dashboard
In the target of the sellers was found the explosive biocoal group, on the occasion of the placement for 3% of Cenergy.
Specifically, Cenergy's value was fully harmonised with that of the placement (24.2 euros) closing at 24.16 to -7,79%. From a turnover point of view, if the transaction is exempted from 152,46, it made mixed-value transactions of around EUR 24 million.
Biohalco's mother (5.5 million) who was the stock seller also corrected to 21.35 euros with -2.29%, as did the other subsidiary ELHA (2.9 million) to 5.60 to -2.1%.
PPC with a turnover of 78.9 million (the 62.6 million in packages at prices ranging from 22,81 to 23 euros) dropped to 23 euros with -0.52%.
From there on, the trading focused as usual on banks and especially systemics with the final image (and the variation of the day) to refer more to profit registration and less to reflection on the intervention of the Ministry for Retroactivity the decision on the borrowers of the Katseli Act.
It is noted that UBS stated that it remains a "buyer" of Greek systemics, maintaining the Buy recommendation for all four while locate margins for further rally up to 20%.
On the board, the EIB, with its third largest turnover of the day at 40.8 million, retreated to 15.50 euros with -1.27% and Eurobank at 30.7 million at 4.22 to -2.42%.

It is noted that in banks and Cenergy, PPC became 80% of the turnover of the day (a total of around 386m euros).
On the other hand, only 4 titles in high capitalization were completed on positive ground, with the DG receiving support mainly from AKTOR (7.7 million) at 12.84 with + 3.05% and Coca Cola (811 thousand) at 53.5 to +1.71%.
