A new Siatista Kozani-based cookie company was registered today at GEMY under the name "Vanilla I.K.E. Biscotery".
Three children of Constantine Giortziotis, owner of Violada, the biscuit industry at the heart of the judicial investigation into the tragedy in her factory in Trikala, with five workers dead.
Who are involved?
More specifically, four partners participate in the "Vanilia I.K.E. Biscoteria", with George Anastasiou taking over management and 26.5%, having contributed 3,975 euros. Stefanos, Modestos and Sophia Giortziotis participate with 24.5% each, paying from 3,675 euros.
Stefanos Giortziotis, a partner-member of the "Vanilla I.K.E. Biscotery." is vice president of the board of directors of Violada where Constantine Giortziotis remains president and CEO. The latter is faced with justice, while he has been judged a ward for the events of Trikala.
The new company capital totals 15,000 euros, divided into 600 shares of 25 euros.
The object
The range of activities recorded in the statute is notably extensive including from the production of biscuits, waffles, wafers and bakeries with gingerbread-type spices, to the wholesale marketing of chocolate, sweets and pastry products, including cocoa-free products. The company also aims to produce nuts and fresh bakery items.
The duration of the company is 30 years, while the first corporate year expires on 31 December 2026.
The question remains whether "Vanilla I.K.E. Biscotery" will function complementary to Biolanda or as an independent business activity of its shareholders.
