Picketti is a director of studies at the Higher School of Social Sciences (EHESS), a professor at the Paris University of Economics and co-director of the World Inequality Lab.

With regard to revenue, the report provides for global taxes on property (up to 20% rate) and on the incomes (up to 90%) of the rich, which will be imposed separately from national tax systems.
