On Friday, April 17th, Nikos Karageorgiou founded 3 alpha and 1st Vice President of the Association of Industries of Attica and Piraeus.
As noted in a announcement by the SVAP, Nicholas (Nikos) Karageorgiou was born in Thessaloniki in 1946. He graduated from the Economic University of Piraeus and in 1968 founded the company «Karageorgiou brothers», specializing in the packaging of rice - legumes under the distinctive title «3 alpha», which she also highlighted as leader in her field.


Nicholas (Nikos) Karageorgiou was a distinguished member of the business community with a multi-year service as, ‘A Vice President of the Association of Industries of Attica and Piraeus (SBAP). He was also distinguished in the promotion of industry positions and as Chairman of the Greek Association of Companies of Branded Products (ESVEP), Vice-Chairman of the Association of Commercial Food Enterprises of Greece (SETE) and representative of the SBAP at the BSE General Council and the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EVEP).
He also distinguished himself as Chairman of the Piraeus Sailing Club (IOP) and with his participation in International Sailing Games. As it became known by the SVAP, his funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 15:45 at the Ritsona Cistern.
