THE EXPAS announced the final dates for the payment of pensions May 2026, which will be based on the distinction between employees and selfemployed persons.
According to the information, the pensioners of the non-employed Funds (OAEE, OGA, EBRD) and those receiving main and auxiliary pensions from the private sector will be paid first. Payments will be made to the Friday 24 April and Monday 27 April.
It is recalled that the initial proposal of the EPKA provided for payments on 27 and 29 April. However, with the new decision, the dates are transferred earlier so that the beneficiaries will receive their money more directly.
Payment dates follow the rule of separation between Employees and Don't. Employees and are shaped as follows:
The Friday 24 April 2026 The main pensions will be paid by the former Non-Employed Funds of the EU, OGA and EBRD, the main pensions awarded since the establishment of the EFFA and then, with Law 438/2016, through the OPS-EFKA (Retired Employees & Non-Employers from 1.1.2017 onwards) and all supplementary pensions of the private sector (Non-Employers and Employees).
The Monday 27 April 2026 The main pensions of the former Employee Funds [IKA-ETAM, banks, OTE, PPC, OTHER INSTITUTIONAL (TSAGGSO, CS-ISAP), NET, EDF and EFF-SME] as well as the main and ancillary pensions of the State will be paid.
It is worth noting that, beneficiaries of pensioners will see the amounts in their accounts as early as the afternoon of the previous dayIn particular, payments scheduled for Friday, April 24 will have been credited by Thursday, April 23rd, while those on Monday, April 27th will appear in the accounts of beneficiaries from Friday, April 26th.
