On the basis of Decision A.1052/2026 published in FEK, March and August, the fixed months of electronic crossings for uninsured vehicles, CTEOs and stillness are now being made. ADE proceeds in mass «scans» data from the interconnected registers, fully standardising the fine enforcement act.
This is not an individual campaign. It's a permanent mechanism. Each year, twice, the system «Open» the databases and automatically check each vehicle in the registers. Insurance companies, KTEO, Ministry of Transport, IRS — They all talk to each other.
What the last round showed and what is coming now
At the online intersection of November 2025 87,026 uninsured vehicles were identified, with their owners receiving notices and a 15-day deadline for settling. Those who failed to comply have already received the official Fine Enforcement Act. Within 2026 two more new rounds of electronic crossings are planned.
The overall range of the problem is much greater: mass controls have revealed over 400,000 vehicle infringements without security, CTO or traffic charges. In some estimates the number rises to the 400,000 owners who enter the Authority's microscope.
Fines per category
The financial fines are as follows: for uninsured vehicles, 250 euros for bicycles, 500 euros for passenger IXs and 1,000 euros for buses and trucks of public use. A fine of EUR 400 is fined for the absence of KTEO. For unpaid traffic charges of more than one year, a fine equal to the amount of charges due shall be imposed.
But these are the «basic». Because if one insists on the infringement: those who do not settle their outstanding affairs within the deadline face double fines, but also removal of licenses and licenses.
And at worst — for a false declaration of immobility: if a vehicle for which a declaration of immobility has been submitted is detected, a fine of EUR 10,000 is imposed by AADE, in addition to traffic charges. In the event of a repeat of the infringement within five years, the fine triples up to 30,000 euros, while the driver's license is also removed for 3 years.

Η ειδοποίηση έρχεται ηλεκτρονικά, βάσει των στοιχείων που έχεις δηλώσει, ή ταχυδρομικά αν δεν υπάρχει ηλεκτρονικός τρόπος επικοινωνίας. Το θέμα του email αναφέρει: «Ειδοποίηση σχετικά με όχημα ιδιοκτησίας σας» — και σε στέλνει στην εφαρμογή oximata.gov.gr.
Αν θεωρείς ότι η διασταύρωση είναι λανθασμένη, έχεις προθεσμία δέκα εργάσιμων ημερών από την κοινοποίηση για να υποβάλεις ένσταση. Η ένσταση γίνεται αποκλειστικά ψηφιακά, μέσω της ειδικής εφαρμογής στο gov.gr για τον διασταυρωτικό έλεγχο οχημάτων, με χρήση των προσωπικών κωδικών.
Γιατί αφορά και την οδική ασφάλεια όχι μόνο τα ταμεία
Πίσω από τους αριθμούς και τα ευρώ υπάρχει κάτι πολύ πιο απλό: ένα όχημα χωρίς ΚΤΕΟ μπορεί να έχει φθαρμένα φρένα, ελαστικά στο όριο, χαλασμένα φώτα. Ο ιδιοκτήτης το ξέρει ή δεν θέλει να το ξέρει. Το πρόβλημα όμως αφορά και όλους τους υπόλοιπους στον ίδιο δρόμο. Το ανασφάλιστο ΙΧ που εμπλέκεται σε τροχαίο αφήνει τον τρίτο που τραυματίστηκε να μάχεται με τη γραφειοκρατία του Επικουρικού Κεφαλαίου για να αποζημιωθεί.
Τι πρέπει να κάνεις τώρα
Ο επόμενος γύρος διασταυρώσεων είναι προγραμματισμένος για τον Αύγουστο. Αν υπάρχει οποιαδήποτε εκκρεμότητα, το παράθυρο για τακτοποίηση χωρίς πρόστιμο είναι ανοιχτό — αλλά όχι για πάντα.
Τρία πράγματα να ελέγξεις σήμερα:
Ασφάλεια: ενεργό συμβόλαιο με ημερομηνία λήξης μετά τον Αύγουστο;
ΚΤΕΟ: έχει λήξει η ισχύς του τελευταίου ελέγχου;
Τέλη κυκλοφορίας: υπάρχει οφειλή άνω του ενός έτους;
Και αν δεν είσαι σίγουρος, η εφαρμογή oximata.gov.gr δείχνει αμέσως την κατάσταση του οχήματός σου — χωρίς ουρές, χωρίς τηλεφωνήματα.
