# Social Tourism: The deadline for applications expires Sunday
Until Sunday, May 3 at 23:59 citizens can apply for the PSPA Social Tourism Programme. The 13 month programme offers 300,000 cheques worth 50m euros for up to 6 nights. In Leros, Mytilene, Chios, Kos, Samos and Rhodes, 10 free nights are provided, while in Northern Evia, Evros and Thessaly 12 nights. Beneficiaries are private sector workers and unemployed persons with income up to 16,000€ for singles and 24,000€ for married men. Multiple parents are excluded from the division. Applications shall be submitted via gov.gr.

By Sunday (3/5) they may apply for participation in its programme Social Tourism The citizens.
Application may be made by 23:59 all VAT. The programme will have a duration of 13 months and will involve 300,000 vouchers, with a budget of 50m euros.
With the check, which is a unique number for each beneficiary and benefiting individually, beneficiaries may make up to 6 nights in accommodation chosen by the «register of providers» DYPA, after consultation, with a small private participation.
Areas and nights
In the islands of Leros, Mytilene, Chios, Kos, Samos and Rhodes, the beneficiaries can make up to 10 nights free of charge, with zero private participation, while in the municipalities of Northern Evia and Evros, as well as in Thessaly, except Sporades, they can make up to 12 nights free.
Subsidies are increased by 20% for the peak month August, as well as for Christmas periods (15.12.2026 to 14.01.2027) and Easter (23.04.2027 to 09.05.2027).
The increased subsidy is valid throughout the year for accommodation in Northern Evia, Evros and Thessaly, except Sporades.
Apart from staying in tourist accommodation, ferry tickets are also subsidised. Private participation is 25%, while, for disabled people, tickets are free.
Beneficiaries are:
- workers with a dependent private-law employment relationship,
- persons insured in the e-EFKA, due to a dependent working relationship, with contributions to the IMIPA unemployment sector, whenever within 12 months preceding the expiry of the deadline for applications; or
- unemployed persons registered in the Digital Register for DYPA work, with a continuous unemployment period of at least three months on the expiry date of the deadline.
Income criteria
Condition is income up to:
- 16,000 euros for singles,
- EUR 24,000 for married men, increased by EUR 5,000 for each child;
- 29,000 euros for single-parent families, increased by 5,000 euros for each child, after the first.

In particular, the route is: Home → Work and Insurance → Compensation and Benefits → Social Tourism Programs (DYPA).
The selection of beneficiaries is based on the aggregation of specific criteria (SMEs, single-parent family, number of children, income, first participation or non-choice in the previous two programmes, due to aggregation), in an objective and transparent manner, through the Integrated Information System (IPP) of the IMPA.
For the first time this year, multiple parents are excluded from the limitation procedure and participate in the programme, provided they meet the requirements.
According to the communication, workers and unemployed persons who are subsidised by another body's social tourism programme for the same period, as well as those who, except for disabled and long-term parents, received a check in the 2025-2026 programme.
