The Recovery Fund was a great breath for the Greek Economy. But that's over. It's over! Alas if we've figured it out already! And that's where the government's problem lies. The Fund's money is gone and they haven't touched. Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship, the backbone of its voters, still takes them out «hard»Because he wasn't invited to the party. There was no provision for money to drop on small businesses. Which, if it happened, would be a job! He needs a substantial change of navigation. With a program. Control. Wisely.
The original idea was to run the Recovery Fund with the large companies to have absorption. There was also the illusion that we would have the best possible use of what Europe invested in the future of Greece. The mistake was that everything happened in a hurry and without strategy. So we avoided addressing the public's lack of credibility and solving it by creating a group of commandos that would receive the projects. In other words, to have effective control over the quality of the projects and to ensure that the money given (and given a lot) takes place. Because of the urgency of the matter, i.e. the absorption of funds, no development objectives were set. To participate, in other words, in each project and small companies and in terms similar to those applicable to the large ones.
That's what happened. Time doesn't come back. It's about what happens from now on. A hundred more packages to come will make no sense, although since they are managed in the same way as the Recovery Fund. And there are tools. The NSRF, but also domestic resources that could be used for developmental reasons. And we reach the critical point: What plan, how and what result.
The truth is, we don't know exactly what we want. If we knew, we would have said it. And we would have taken all the necessary steps. From Education, abolishing schools and establishing new ones and depending on the direction of the market, to the various financial packages. Right now where do we want to emphasize? In agriculture, new technologies or rooms to rent? Programmes are currently being advertised for house renovation. I don't know.
The report says that all this, the discontent of small and medium-sized people, is reflected in both polls and especially in productive ages. This world is tired. He doesn't want promises, he wants works. And when he hears government MPs tell him about the Fund's money and about improving economic indicators, he gets furious. Because this world knows better than those who simply seek their re-election and whatever it entails. Even if they wanted to forget, they can't. They remember it every morning when they open their business office or store key.
