Essentially, this is a new, seven-story building with an underground parking lot, designed to host multiple functions and meet the different needs of its users.
In particular, five of the seven floors will be allocated for short and long parking, while the two others will exclusively accommodate the companies leaching, which play an important role in the operation of the airport, serving both tourists and other travellers.
Apart from parking spaces, the new building will include offices, as well as vehicle washing facilities, offering an additional service to users who wish to combine parking their vehicle with one professional cleaning.
As to its location now, the new parking building will be built in place of existing short parking spaces, improving passenger access to and from the terminal and enhancing airport functionality.

What is currently true of parking at the airport
Since last July, Short Term 1 has been closed and has been moved within Long Term, perimeter of the pedestrian bridge leading to the main terminal.
Motorcycle parking spaces, within and outside Short Term 1 have been abolished since 3 July and have been moved to a new space with separate entrance inside the Long Term, with free parking.
In the new Space for Short Term parking is valid for free parking of 20 minutes, while the charging positions for 14 electric vehicles have been moved there in collaboration with PPC blue.
At the same time there is and the short parking lot 2, located at the Arrival level and is the ideal solution for easy and quick access to the main terminal building. This parking lot has a free parking of 20 minutes.

The free parking of 20 minutes is valid for 2 entrances per day. From the 3rd entry onwards, charges apply according to the price list. For parking up to 1 hour, the cost is 6 euros.
At the same time there is and the short parking lot 2, located at the Arrival level and is the ideal solution for easy and quick access to the main terminal building. This parking lot has a free parking of 20 minutes.
The free parking of 20 minutes is valid for 2 entrances per day. From the 3rd entry onwards, charges apply according to the price list.
Changes in Economy Parking and the new Long Term Value Parking
The Economy Parking of airport which is only available for online reservations, has been transferred to the Commercial Park area. The driver must follow the signs for Commercial Park / Economy (P4). Free bus is available for its transfer directly to the Main Terminal.
