New additional payment of EUR 150 per child – Which families enter the clearing and what parents should check
In the final line lies the additional payment of the exceptional financial aid of EUR 150 per child, the payment is expected by the end of August and some families can receive a total of up to and EUR 450.
The new liquidation concerns mainly beneficiaries who, although fulfilling the conditions, were not included in the first payment, as well as families to whom a new member was added and the relevant data had not been able to be integrated into the electronic systems during the initial processing.
Of particular interest are the cases of children born of 1 January 2025 until 31 July 2026, for which specific procedures are required to be completed in order to make the electronic crossing correctly.
Payment is to be made automatic, without new application, provided that the beneficiary meets the criteria laid down and that its data are complete and updated .
Who can get 150, 300 or 450 euros
The amount of aid shall be calculated according to the number of eligible children. Thus, for a child they correspond EUR 150For two children EUR 300, while a family with three eligible children can reach EUR 450.
The supplementary liquidation consists primarily of families who were not paid in the first payment because their children's data had not been incorporated in time into the databases used to control beneficiaries.
The conditions to be met
For children born within 2025, it is of particular importance that they appear normally as dependent members in the tax year 2025.
At the same time, it should be stated correctly Child's PMC, and the existence of active and valid IBAN at ADE, so that the credit can be made.
Once the required checks have been completed and the income and other criteria are met, the beneficiary does not need to submit a new application.
What changes for those children born in 2026
More attention is required in the cases of children born from 1 January to 31 July 2026.
For these families the key element is publication VAT on the child, to enable electronic crossings to be completed.
There should also be a definitive birth certificate and a proper correlation between VAT and AMCA should be carried out.
Any inconsistencies in personal data or unfinished business may prevent the beneficiary from joining the supplementary payment.
Four clues that parents should check
Although no new application is provided, it is appropriate to check in time:
- if the child appears correctly as a dependent member,
- if the correct AMCA has been registered,
- if the IBAN declared to the ADE is active and valid,
- and, for the births of 2026, if the procedure for issuing VAT and its match with the AMC has been completed.
Even a seemingly small mismatch can lead to a delay in electronic processing.
The payment before August goes
On the basis of the forecast schedule, the additional payment is expected until the end of August, with the money credited to the declared bank account of the beneficiaries.
For families waiting for the first payment but left out due to unfinished business in their data, the next days are therefore decisive.
The amount is not negligible: EUR 150 for one child, EUR 300 for two and up to EUR 450 for three eligible children, at a time when family expenses begin to increase in the light of the new school year.
The main thing for beneficiaries is to make sure that the data required for crossings are correct. From there on, provided the conditions are met, credit will be made without needing a new application.
