A series of changes for citizens with open cases of wills and inheritances, for debtors, property owners, seizures and auctions bring the ADE with a circular published yesterday (11.5.2026) on the establishment and operation of a Single Digital Register for corruption cases and interventions in the Code of Civil Procedure.

The new provisions brought by AADE with the circular O.3019/2026 introduce new electronic procedures for the above cases, from electronic declarations for seizures in third parties' hands and changes in electronic auctions to changes in earnings and inheritance waivers and covenants.

Foreclosures in third parties' hands, i.e. blocking accounts, rents, claims from customers and other amounts in third parties' hands are at the heart of the provisions.

The submission of the declaration of third parties will now be done electronically, via portal.odee.gr platform. As stated in the circular, the statement is drawn up, signed and submitted electronically by a proxy lawyer or notary through the approved digital platform maintained by the Federation of Judicial Curators of Greece (portal). odee.gr), using the Unique Statement Code.

These are arrangements affecting debtors with outstanding debts to public, banks and servicers while change the data in electronic real estate auctions where procedures are simplified to avoid delays in the case of auctions postponed due to lack or inability to define a notary from the same area where the property is located.

Another regulation concerns declaration of refusal of inheritance or acceptance of inheritance submitted by the heir and can now be done through attorney proxy, without always requiring his physical presence.

Also created Register of Covenants where evidence of published covenants will be filed, with registration by the notary while publication by a consular authority is made by the consul who draws up a practical document signed by him and, if it is a specific covenant, by the person who delivered it. Thus, it is easier to search and locate covenants, limited to delays in procedures while persons staying abroad are served or are experiencing mobility difficulties and are unable to visit public services.

At the same time, the possibility of drawing up and transmitting documents, reports and executions, as well as the interconnection with the entire ecosystem of professionals involved, is enhanced so that enforcement procedures and auctions can take place in a shorter time.
