With expanded income limits, increased subsidies and special provisions are expected to implement the "Tourism for All 2026-2027" programme.
With increased amounts of subsidy and extended income limits, it is expected that "Tourism for All" programme 2026-2027". These changes extend the circle of beneficiaries, while special arrangements are provided for vulnerable social groups.
The Start of submission of applications shall be placed on time at the beginning of August, with the exact date of operation of the platform expected to be announced within the following days .
As in the previous cycle, beneficiaries will be selected by electronic draw, while the grant will be made available via intangible digital card.
Tourism for All 2026-2027: In two distinct phases the new programme
The new programme is planned to be implemented in two distinct phases. Phase one will begin in the coming period and will be completed on 30 June 2027, while Phase II will begin in early 2027 and will be completed on 31 December 2027.
No intermediate draw is planned, as the beneficiaries of phase two will be drawn from the tables not drawn from the first phase draw, as the aim is to continue the programme and the coverage of the winter season of both 2026 and 2027, within the framework of the wider strategy for strengthening the mountain tourism. The new structure provides increased flexibility, improved resource absorption and the possibility of wider participation of citizens.
The Tourism Program for All incorporates a strategy to strengthen the broad months (October to April), directing 70% of the budget available in these months, implementing in practice the national strategy for extending the tourist season and supporting local economies throughout the year, in accordance with the relevant communication.
In the same context, the programme is also linked to the Ministry of Tourism's wider campaign for the «Mountain Greece», contributing to the emergence and strengthening of less-proposed mountain destinations, with the aim of balanced tourist development and dissemination of visitors throughout the territory.
Tourism for All 2026-2027: The beneficiaries
In addition, the programme, as noted, expand income criteria; allowing the inclusion of more middle-class households. In particular, the limits are increasing, inter alia, from 19,000 euros to 21,000 euros for single persons without children and from 31,000 euros in 33,000 euros for married persons without children, while for families with more children the ceilings extend significantly, reaching up to EUR 58,000, substantially extending the range of potential beneficiaries.
At the same time, as noted in the communication, the provision for the persons with disabilities, as for the first time under the programme the possibility of participation in disabled persons (≥ 67%) and families with children – people with disabilities regardless of income criteria, is given by strengthening equal access to holidays and the social character of tourism policy.
In addition, new targeted aid for large families, as an additional subsidy of EUR 50 is provided for each child from the fourth and above, effectively supporting the large families. This provision differs substantially from the 2025 programme, in which the subsidy concerned the beneficiary only and did not increase on the basis of the number of dependent members.
Tourism for All 2026-2027: Amounts and dates
At the same time, it is maintained and upgraded. use of the intangible digital card as an exclusive means of using the subsidy amount, with full use of modern state digital infrastructure through gov.gr and vouchers.gov.gr platforms, ensuring speed, transparency and convenience for citizens. In addition, the programme enhances the accessibility of citizens with the possibility of submitting applications through the Citizens Service Centres (CEPs), as well as support for an organised service mechanism (help desk), making participation even easier.
The main aid characteristics remain strong, with subsidy amounts ranging from from EUR 200 to EUR 600 according to the period and category of beneficiaries, and the selection procedure to be carried out by electronic draw, ensuring transparency and equal opportunities for participation.
