The new programme Tourism for All 2026 – 2027 returns with more beneficiaries, increased duration, higher income limits and financial assistance up to 600 euros, aiming to facilitate more households to take holidays within Greece.
The aim of the Tourism for All is a tourism more inclusive, more sustainable and fairer. A tourism that creates value for the economy, but also an essential benefit for society. The electronic platform for submitting applications is expected to be launched in August. The grant will be paid through intangible digital card and will vary from EUR 200 to EUR 600, depending on the category of beneficiary.
The programme will be implemented in 2 distinct phases. Phase 1 will begin in the coming period and will be completed on 30 June 2027, while Phase 2 will start early in 2027 and end on December 31, 2027.
According to the relevant design, no intermediate draw is foreseen, as the beneficiaries of the 2nd phase will be drawn from the tables not drawn from the 1st phase draw, as the objective is the continuous flow of the programme and the coverage of the winter season of both 2026 and 2027, as part of the broader strategy for mountain tourism.
Income criteria
At the heart of the new programme is the strengthening of the middle class, which is why the Ministry of Tourism has increased income limits. For single citizens without children, the income threshold now stands at 21,000 euros, increased from the 19,000 euros previously in force.
Correspondingly, for married people without children, the threshold rises to 33,000 euros from 31,000 euros. For families with children, income criteria are scaled according to the number of members, with the ceiling even reaching EUR 58,000.
Persons with a disability rate of 67% or more, as well as families with protected children with a corresponding disability rate, will be able to participate in the programme without any income restrictions.
How beneficiaries will be selected
Η επιλογή των δικαιούχων θα πραγματοποιηθεί μέσω ηλεκτρονικής κλήρωσης, με βάση τα εισοδηματικά και λοιπά κριτήρια του προγράμματος, καθώς και τους διαθέσιμους οικονομικούς πόρους.
Όσοι επιλεγούν θα δουν το ποσό της επιδότησης να πιστώνεται στην άυλη ψηφιακή κάρτα τους, την οποία θα μπορούν να χρησιμοποιήσουν αποκλειστικά για την πληρωμή της διαμονής τους σε τουριστικά καταλύματα κατά τη διάρκεια των διακοπών τους στην Ελλάδα.
