ElvalHalcor Greek Copper and Aluminium Industry S.A. announced its intention to increase the share capital of around EUR 250 million, with a view to financing its new business plan for the period 2026–2030, a total investment amount of around EUR 455 million.

The traffic, as the company points out, aims to strengthen production capacity, expand recycling capacities and improve operational efficiency. The programme is expected to lead to a significant increase in capacity in both the aluminium and copper sectors.

Investment plan

In the aluminium sector, the construction of a new cold sheet with a capacity of approximately 300 mm is planned. Tones and new casting plant and recycling infrastructure. The aim is to increase the total capacity of up to 679 thousand tonnes, while strengthening the rate of recycled material from around 32% to 45%.

In the copper sector, the project includes an extension of existing facilities, the development of a recycling centre in Sofia Med, as well as investments in automation and digitisation of production processes. The company aims at production capacity up to 303 thousand tonnes.

Financing and structure

The capital increase will take place through full marketed offering of new shares, with the abolition of the right of preference, but with a priority mechanism for existing shareholders involved in the process.

An Extraordinary General Assembly has been convened for the transaction on 9 July 2026, while the completion of the increase, under market conditions, is placed within July 2026.

Consultants of the publication have been appointed Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE and UBS Europe SE as Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners.

Objectives by 2030

With the implementation of the project, ElvalHalcor aims at an adjusted EBITDA 425–475m euros, using demand from megatrends, energy transition and strengthening the circular economy.

The administration will hold a teleconference with analysts and institutional investors to present the project today, June 18, 2026.
