H... treatment (shopping therapy as he wrote features) in the great disappointment of the President of the Green OEM from the exclusion of Panathinaikos from the Final Four of Athens he hears in the name BODO and has +1,000 horsepower.
V12 Heart Price Tax
BRABUS BODO is not the usual «affected» Mercedes-AMG that people are used to waiting for the German company. It is a tribute to the founder of BRABUS, Bodo Buschmann, and for the first time the company essentially created its own hypercar, based on the brand new Aston Martin Vanquish.
Under the huge hood beats a 5.2 litre twin-turbo V12 engine with 1,000 horsepower and about 1,200 Nm torque. Power is transferred exclusively to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission transaxle, while the top speed reaches 360 km/h and 0-100 km/h is completed in about 3 seconds. Numbers that would shame hypercars much higher class.
Dark luxury in 77 copies
The body is almost entirely from carbon fiber, with offensive lines, huge air intakes, illuminated BRABUS logo on the back and an impressive floating airotomy that refers more to Koenigsegg than to grand tourer. The four vertically positioned final exhaust complete an image that is already one of the most characteristic design statements of 2026.
Inside dominates a dark luxury environment with black skin, Alcantara, carbon surfaces and handmade details that remind more private jet than car production. Bodo Buschmann's signature is engraved on parts of the cabin, an element that gives the car a particularly emotional character.
The BRABUS will build only 77 copies worldwide, a figure referring to the company's year of establishment in 1977. The starting price amounts to around 1 million euros before tax, before the individualizations that the company's customers usually claim.
A Greek destination?
Dimitris Giannakopoulos is known for his weakness in exotic and rare hypercars, and his posting left little room for misinterpretation. If the market is finally completed as he suggested in his story, BRABUS BODO will probably be one of the most expensive and rarest cars ever to move on Greek roads.
And the most impressive? Despite 1,000 horsepower, BODO is an authentic old-school grand tourer without hybrid systems and without any electrical assistance. A thoroughbred V12 twin-turbo «rocket» At a time when most manufacturers have already buried the big engines. Shopping therapy in the most loud way.
