The Organization for Welfare and Social Solidarity (OPECA) informs that the applications for participation in the Programs of Holidays, Social Tourism and Culture of the Rural Centre continue until Monday 25 May 2026.
Businesses (catalysts, hydrotherapeutics, thermal sources, tourist offices, children's camps, bookshops, publishing houses and theatres) wishing to participate in the LAE/OPEKA 2026 programmes may submit an application/Responsible Statement of Participation in the respective specific electronic applications (for social and health tourism programmes, the excursion programme, the children's camping programme and the free book provision programme) or making use of the appropriate forms (for the thermal tourism programme and the free theatre ticket programme), available on the OPEKA website (Here.)
It is recalled that this year, especially for the Social and Therapeutic Tourism programmes, beneficiaries can make up to twelve (12) nights in contracted tourist accommodation and up to eleven (11) simple baths free of charge, in legally operated facilities of healing sources and hydrotherapy facilities of the municipalities of Istiaia – Edipsos and Mandoudia – Lake – Agia Anna, North Evia, as well as in the Regional Units of Evros, Magnesia, Karditsa, Larissa and Trikala, contributing to the programme of our Organization.
In the islands of North and South Aegean and Evros, beneficiaries can make their nights with zero private participation.
This year's Agricultural Housing Account programs will be implemented throughout the country from 4 June 2026 to 28 February 2027.
The start of the next period (2027–2028) programs is scheduled to begin quite early, in April 2027.
