LAST INFORMATION 13:40

of Manos Hachladakis

On negative ground the Athens market returns, which harmonizes with the paces of international technological correction that began yesterday on Wall Street.

In particular, the General Index was found to retreat by 2,471.3 mon. It now negotiates at 2,486.4 units with -0.6% and turnover at 303m euros (the 140m for the Cenergy placement) and 22.6m pieces have been moved.

The banking indicator retreats by 1.3% at 2,847 units, the FTSE of high capitalization moves at 6,317 units with -0.65%, while the FTSEM of the middle retreats at 3,176 units with -0.4%.

After the conquest still a landmark yesterday, of 2,500 units, Athens Avenue had to move today within an extremely difficult external environment as formed after the technological sale yesterday on Wall Street, whose creaks were originally broadcast in Asia (Nikkei -3.5%, Kospi -10%) and then in Europe now.

In Athens exposure to technological titles can be clearly more limited, but on the one hand it is difficult to differentiate fully from the international climate and on the other (and above all) investors seem to be pricing to banks the intervention of the Ministry for Retroactivity for all the recent decision of the Supreme Court on the borrowers of the Katseli Act.

As previously mentioned in the column, the titles relating to the decision have been transferred in principle to the Hercules State Guarantee scheme and in general there are few implications that relate to the Greek banks (and more to the servicers), but given the overperformance of the industry there is cause for correction in combination with the potential psychological impact.

From then on, additional pressure on the market is exerted by Cenergy's retreat after the start of Placement for 3% of its share capital, from the percentage of Viohalco's motherboard.

However, L. Athens finds significant proponents in the movement against the current made mainly by "heavy" Coca – Cola and the explosive in the last period AKTOR.

With regard to the technological dip yesterday on Wall Street this seems to concern broader concerns as to whether the giants of the industry can support their colossal investments in artificial intelligence, especially in relation to the apparent need to tighten monetary policy at higher interest rates, but also the over-performances they have recorded in general, both recently and in recent years.

In this climate investors left key names of "Magnificent Seven", with Amazon taking a dive of almost 5%, Meta Platforms retreating by 2% and Alphabet also by 5%, at its worst daily performance for over a year. At the same time, Elon Musk's SpaceX made a new dive 16% completing its third falling session.

The fall of the DG would be much greater if the heavy Coca Cola did not "take action" which gives it significant support with the +2.5% it writes at 53.9 euros.

Next to it follows AKTOR at 12.7 with + 2.3%, while Allwyn is boosted by 0.8% after Optima set a target price – at 15.25 euros with a "buy" recommendation.

Metlen is also positively differentiated with +0.7% after it activated the "mammoth" stock buyback program EUR 600 million.

On the other hand, Cenergy is firmly under the greatest pressure with its value falling to the level of the price of the placement (6.3 million shares at EUR 24,20/μg) with -6.9% at 24,4.

Bioco's motherline also retreats by 0.9%, while the other ELHA group is marginally negative at -0.2% after the two-day frenzy rally.

Optima retreats by 2%, Cyprus by 1% and Credia by 2.1%.

Losses of over 2% in the 25th are also noted by EYDAP, with Titan at -1.6%.
