Double return Rent for doctors, nurses and teachers provides for the Joint Ministerial Decision (CSA) published in FEK, opening the way for the implementation of the measure.
The first payment, which concerns retroactive aid without income criteria for the 2024 rents, it will start to apply until 25 September, while for doctors, nurses and teachers it will follow a new one-off payment for rent by the end of November for rent paid in 2025.
The aid is calculated on the basis of the actual annual rent paid, is granted without application and can reach a total of EUR 1,600, while an increase is foreseen 100 euros for each child.
The amount of aid is directly linked to the rent paid last year and, as a rule, corresponds to 2/12 of the annual rent. In other words, an amount equal to two monthly rents shall be reimbursed, provided that the rental data and payments have been correctly declared.
Aid paid by the end of November each year, directly credited to the beneficiary 's bank account. An essential condition is that IBAN be declared and active in the AADE.
In case a payment fails, for example because of closed or incorrect IBAN, the DIAS shall inform the AADE. The beneficiary shall then be informed so that after the correction of the data it is included in the next payment.
