Since September 2026, the Legislature, which introduces substantial changes in wills, inheritances and the rights of relatives and partners.
The new provisions directly affect those who want to draft a will, secure their property, or move on to managing hereditary affairs.
The bill the Ministry of National Economy and Finance for the new «Framework for public benefit property, institutions, schooling inheritances and donations to the public» It simplifies the process of the public will, two witnesses will now be needed: «Secret» wills, while greater protection is given to heirs against excessive debts.
What changes since September
1. Wills
- The public will process is simplified.

- A special procedure is provided for persons with serious disability.

3. Legal fate
- The heirs do not necessarily acquire condominance in real estate.
- They can ask for their ration in money.

4. Heritage debt
- Greater protection is given to heirs against excessive debts.
- The heir is not responsible for his personal property unless he declares that he will freely manage the inheritance.
5. Clear heritage

6. Other major changes
- Grandparents and great-grandmothers cease to be included in the inheritance classes.
