Ukrainian billionaire Rinat Ahmetov, with a $7.8 billion fortune, combines real estate and maritime luxury. He bought an apartment in Monaco for $500 million and holds as of January 2024 the mega yacht Luminance, 138.8 metres long. The cabin, built by German Lürssen, hosts 40 guests in 20 suites and features spa, gym, beach club, swimming pool and helipad. Construction costs reached $500 million, while annual maintenance amounts to $40-50 million.
