# Retrieving feta due to Listeria infection

EPET proceeded to recall a batch of feta known name, after the dangerous Listeria bacterium was detected. Listeria infection may cause serious health problems, especially in vulnerable groups such as pregnant, young children, elderly and people with a weakened immune system. Consumers are invited to check the products in their possession and avoid consumption. The ETUC Communication shall include details of the problem lot to be withdrawn from the market.

Withdrawal of batch of baby milk from the FDA

The FVO decided to withdraw lot 111572333 of infant milk ALMIRON PROFUTURA 1 with an expiry date of 5/11/2027. The decision was taken following an update by NUMIL HELLAS SA, as laboratory analysis showed that the permissible limit of cereulide toxin established by the European Food Assessment Agency has been exceeded. Consumers are asked not to use the product and return it to the market point for replacement. The withdrawal shall extend to the level of the consumer.
