The first Chinese capsule house was installed in Spain. It has voice control, smart functions and a price starting at 70,000 euros.
A new generation of small, intelligent homes aspires to change the way we perceive housing. The so-called capsules houses, developed in China, they made their appearance in Spain and already cause intense interest as they combine advanced technology, fast installation and relatively lower cost compared to conventional housing.
The first such house has already been placed in San Vithende do Mar, in the province of Pontevedra, by Caslua Import, which has the exclusive license to import these residences into the Spanish market.
A house that obeys the voice of the owner
Its most impressive feature is the technology it incorporates. According to its creators, the residence operates with voice commands through a digital assistant, who can open the curtains, activate the lighting or even open the folding roof.
The model features an area of approximately 40 square meters and was designed with modular philosophy, allowing additional spaces to be added according to the needs of the owner.
Another advantage is delivery time, as from construction to installation it takes about three months.
Manufacture with durable materials
The house is made of structural aluminum and steel, while it has thermal insulation and sound insulation, elements that protect it from moisture and corrosion.
Manufacturers say it requires minimal maintenance, offering 25 years guarantee for painted aluminum parts and 50 years guarantee for the main frame of construction.
Price from 70,000 euros
The basic model costs EUR 70,000 and includes:
- one bedroom,
- fully equipped kitchen,
- bathroom,
- air conditioning,
- a smart home automation system,
- a viewer for entertainment.
For those looking for more amenities, there is an upgraded version with a price of about 85,000 euros, which has an additional folding roof, Jacuzzi and air heating system.
A possible solution to the housing problem
Caslua Import founders consider that capsole houses can be an alternative to the housing crisis, offering quality housing in a shorter time and at lower cost than a conventional construction.
Increasing demand for smaller, energy-efficient and technologically advanced housing shows that such solutions may have an important role in the market in the coming years, especially in countries facing serious shortages of available housing.
