Most hours of work per week, among the 27 countries of the European Union, the Greeks had in 2025.
According to figures given today by Eurostat, the negative «first» The Greeks corresponds to 39.6 hours per week.
Eurostat data show the actual weekly working hours of employees in the EU, full-time and part-time and for ages from 20 to 64 years.

Looking at the EU countries, the longest working weeks were recorded in Greece (39.6 hours), Bulgaria and Poland (38.7 hours in both), as well as Lithuania (33.4 hours).
On the contrary, the Netherlands recorded the smallest week of work (31.9 hours), followed by Denmark and Germany (33.9 hours in both) and Austria (34.0 hours).

Jobs with the longest working week in the EU. were qualified workers in agriculture, forestry and fisheries (42.0 real hours of work), managers (40.6) and occupations of armed forces (39.4).
On the other hand, smaller weeks of work were recorded in poorly qualified occupations/manual work (31.8), office/office support employees (34.0) and service and trade workers (34.5).
