The use of fictitious years in order to allow a person to use a worker to establish pension entitlement, even at 3,600 Insurance Days, applies only to those who meet the requirements of the legislation from 2011 onwards.

Instead, for cases where the foundation arises by earlier provisions (up to 31-12-2010) then the use of fictitious years cannot be made.

A general e-EFKA document goes ahead with this clarification, as two different cases were identified by the competent authorities when considering the retirement claims submitted, in which fictitious times are requested to be recognised in order to establish the pension entitlement.

It should be noted that the main categories of insured persons whose pension conditions have been amended and apply from 1.1.2011 onwards, thus using fictitious years, with 3,600 days of insurance are as follows:

Old insured persons (start of insurance until 31.12.1992)

(a) Women with 4,500 days' insurance, for full and reduced pension.
b) Women with provisions for Heavy and Unsanitary Stamps (CBAE) (4,500 – 3,600 – 1,000 Insurance Days).
(c) Mothers and widows fathers of minor children.
d) Men and women with 12,000 days insurance – 62 years old.
(e) Men and women with 10,500 days of insurance of which 7,500 in CSE, for a full and reduced pension.
Women for a second pension with 4,800 or 6,000 days of insurance.
(g) Men and women who retired as flying, air operations management staff, Olympic Catering staff.

New insured persons (start of insurance after 1.1.1993)

a) Men and women with 12,000 days insurance – 62 years old.
b) Mothers and widows fathers of minor children completing the 6,000 days of insurance from 01/01/2013 onwards, for retirement at the age of 62 (reduced) and 67 (full). Especially in these cases, there is the additional condition that when the application is submitted there must be a minor child.

What insured persons do not qualify

Accordingly, the main classes of insured persons whose pension conditions have not been modified since 1.1.2011, therefore no use of fictitious years, with 3,600 days of insurance, are the following:
