Monday's information said that one of the issues that seems to have been resolved is the effective functioning of the field that enables the authorizations (of farmers) to be made, so that the process of gathering data on the next steps of the statements can proceed. However, today, Tuesday, August 18th, several representatives of the DPA informed AADE that they continue to find it difficult to authorize.

Of course, everyone acknowledges, first the Independent Authority, that at technical level a number of solutions should be sought, so that the myAGRO platform that was launched on 6 August can become fully operational and provide answers to all the issues associated with the new aid applications (EEE 2026), so that each debtor can reach the completion of his statement, which is not possible so far.

The latest information wants representatives of the CDC and those who are generally involved in the reporting process, to recognise the progress of the last 24 hours in the operation of the application, which means that the ADE has the staff capacity it needs during these difficult times to provide the necessary solutions to the small individual issues arising from the control of implementation in practice.

In addition, the first ones to be convinced of the possibilities of ADE to carry out the work of the IACC declarations are the Community authorities, which officially gave the domestic Independent Authority the certification necessary to manage Community aid a few days ago.

The devil is in the details

However, as Agronews executives point out, the individual issues that AEOD will need to resolve as soon as possible are enough. Of the most important, it is the fact that the necessary documents of the ELGA are not shown or printed, although they are crucial elements of the applications. Also, in specific categories of producers, such as farmers, there are deficiencies in forms and functions (e.g. pastures). In most cases it is currently not possible to finalise applications.

What has certainly been corrected is the point of the application concerning authorizations - via myADD platform - which now facilitates the planning of an appointment with farmers and the gathering of information relating to declarations.

Worried to meet deadlines

The gradual resolution of the individual issues that arise at technical level, in particular, eases the concerns of producers and those involved in the handling of declarations, on compliance with the project timetables and the approach to the payment objective.

As mentioned in the relevant circular of AADE for the OSA, which Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stressed at the presentation of myAGRO, farmers who submit their applications by 15 September will receive the check deposit – for the first time at 75% – by 31 October. Those who submit their applications after that date and if everything goes well, will receive the advances by November 30. However, if technical difficulties are delayed, there is no way that there will be an extension of these deadlines.
