The Thessaloniki, where the large infrastructure projects have significantly increased the traffic pressure in the city centre, GAIAOSE went on contract area concession to the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
The company granted an area of about two acres to the Commercial Railway Station, opposite the Judicial Palace, in order for the Municipality of Thessaloniki to proceed with the construction and operation of temporary parking to meet increased traffic needs due to infrastructure projects and in particular Flyover.
The contract has a maximum duration of three years or until the completion of the Flyover, while the Municipality takes over the configuration and operation of the site with an emphasis on safety, functionality and public benefit.
The intervention comes to give a direct solution to a particularly demanding period for the operation of the city, contributing to better service of residents and visitors.
