# Five support measures in April
Thousands of professionals and taxpayers benefit from five relief measures in April. Since 1 April, there has been an increase in the minimum wage to EUR 920 and the Easter gift, while continuing the margin of fuel profit. In addition, about 3.1 million vehicle owners receive the Fuel Pass, a 16-minute subsidy per litre is foreseen in the drive diesel, while civil servants enjoy a horizontal increase of 40 euros. Finally, a two-month 15% grant to the farmers' fertilizer markets begins.
Analyticalally:
A total of five measures relieve the «pocket» thousands of professionals and taxpayers this April, as in addition to raising the minimum wage on 1 April and the Easter gift paid, a series of support measures, such as profit margin on fuel and Fuel Pass.
In particular, April brings the standard Easter gift for employees, raising the minimum wage for low-paid persons, but also for those receiving minimum-linked benefits.
In addition, the horizontal increase of EUR 40 for workers in the public sector is being implemented in April.
Still, within the month they will receive the fuel allowance about three million vehicle owners. Let's see them in detail:
1. Fuel Pass
The platform for the digital fuel card (fuel pass) opened and the great interest «He shot» the page from the first minutes.
It is typical that in the early hours more than 160,000 citizens applied, while the «input» Over 3,000 a second.
The allowance is entitled to approximately 3.1 million vehicle owners, to purchase fuel at stations or to cover public transport costs and taxis.

2. Diesel motion – Support to pump
In April there is a subsidy of 16 minutes per litre in the diesel traffic on the distribution network.
Which means that the benefit for the consumer and the professional at the final price - with VAT - will be 20 minutes a litre.
The subsidy cost for the month of April is estimated at around EUR 51 million, and if the measure is extended to May, the cost will total EUR 106 million.
3. Intervention for fertilisers
This month the two-month grant begins at 15% of the amount of farm market documents.
15% is calculated from the final amount of the VAT invoice, issued from 1 April to 31 May for two months.
Beneficiaries are natural persons professional farmers and legal persons active in the primary sector.
The subsidy will be granted upon request on a relevant electronic platform of AADE.
4. Easter gift
The Easter gift – equal to half a monthly salary for wage earners and 15 wages for wage-paid employees – is compulsory until Great Wednesday, this means that those who have not already received it should turn for a complaint to the Labour Inspectorate.
5. Minimum wage increase
Since April 1st, the increase of 4.55% in minimum wage.
The new minimum wage now stands at EUR 920 (mixed) and is directly applicable to both the private sector and the public sector, while supporting a number of allowances.
- Full-time employees now receive 920 euros, instead of 880 euros –> an increase of 4.55%
- The employee wage rose from EUR 39.30 to EUR 41.09–> an increase of 4.55%.
- The wage increase for civil servants is estimated at EUR 40.
