Over the next few days, in particular within the next week, it is expected that the temporary results for the IPP's Social Tourism Programme 2026-2027 will be re-assembled, with the number of applications amounting to 816,000 for 300,000 vouchers total budget of 50m euros.
At present, the process of assessing applications is under way through the Integrated Information System of DYPA. For those who do not have a reason for exclusion, a limitation shall be applied, on the basis of which it will be judged who will receive a subsidy for accommodation and ferry transport. It should be noted that many children who qualify for participation are excluded from the limitation procedure. The exception concerns only parents and not children of many children who apply as beneficiaries.
The communication of the interim results will open the procedure for objection. As provided for in the procedure, participants will have the possibility to lodge only one objection electronically against the results of the Temporary Register of Beneficiaries and the Temporary Tables excluded within the deadline to be announced by the IMIPA.
The speakers of the 2026-2027 Social Tourism Programme can be used this year from 18 May 2026 and for the next 12 months.
It is noted that the check corresponds to a unique number for each beneficiary and beneficiary member separately and through it the accommodation in tourist accommodation participating in the IUPA Providers Register is subsidised.
Number of nights and boats
Beneficiaries may hold up to 6 nights with little private participation in accommodation of their choice after consultation with the provider.
In the islands of Leros, Lesvos, Chios, Kos, Samos and Rhodes, up to 10 free nights are planned without private participation.
Also, Northern Evia, in Evros and Thessaly, with the exception of Sporades, are provided up to 12 free nights without private participation. An increased subsidy shall be applied to these areas throughout the programme.
Subsidy prices increase by 20% in August, during the Christmas period from 15 December 2026 to 14 January 2027 and during the Easter period from 23 April 2027 to 9 May 2027.
The program also covers ferry tickets. Private participation in the ferry is 25%, while persons with disabilities are expected to have a free ferry.
What information will be entered in the Parent Beneficiaries
The temporary Register of Beneficiaries and Beneficiaries will indicate the application numbers of the beneficiaries who fulfil the conditions for participation, the last four digits of their VAT and ITA, as well as the molecules they collect by criterion, the total particle allocation and their ranking order.
Moreover, the initial and final letters of the name of the beneficiary members and the last four digits of their AMCA will appear, as well as the indication of whether or not to issue a Social Tourism Order. Beneficiaries without an indication of a check have not been selected for accommodation and ferry transport subsidy.
In case of a tie
In the event of a tie, the beneficiary shall lead with more molecules in the first classification criterion and then in the following criteria. If the balance continues, the lowest family income and then the days of insurance or unemployment in previous years shall be taken into account.
