The American colossus of electric motion, led by Elon Musk, is preparing to operate a state-of-the-art integrated centre on Varis – Koropi Avenue, which will be the new «heart» its activities on the Greek market and one of its major points of presence in Southeast Europe.
The new band will not just be another showroom. This is a vertically organized facility that will gather at one point almost all Tesla services: exhibition of new models, car deliveries, specialized service, technical support and modern customer service infrastructure. The aim of the company is to offer an integrated ownership experience, significantly reducing waiting times and improving the support of holders Tesla in Greece.
Work on the property of Vari – Koropi progresses rapidly and the operation of the new center is expected in 2026. According to information available, the investment in rebuilding and shaping the site amounts to around EUR 5 million, confirming that Tesla no longer sees the Greek market as a small regional presence, but as a strategic development base.
This investment is another vote of confidence in the Greek electric car market. Despite increasing competition from European and mainly Chinese car companies, Tesla continues to invest in natural infrastructure, choosing to strengthen its presence rather than restricting itself exclusively to online sales.
The new facility will operate in addition to the company's existing network. The Tesla It already has a showroom in Glyfada and Kifisia, while the service center continues to operate in Agios Ioannis Rentis, in the FMS buildings, in the descent of the National Road. At the same time, it maintains an engineering office in Athens, which since 2018 has been involved in the development of the company's electrical systems, which shows that its presence in Greece is not limited to sales.
The creation of such a large complex is expected to significantly change customer experience. To date several services were carried out at different facilities, while the needs of the ever-growing fleet Tesla in the country required greater technical support. With the new centre, deliveries, repairs, diagnostic checks and service will take place in a single space, in accordance with the standards applied by the company in the larger European markets.
The timing is not random. The electric car market in Greece is steadily developing, while drivers are increasingly turning towards electric drive. At the same time, Tesla is preparing to further strengthen its presence with the new generation of Model Y, but also with new products that are expected to expand its purchasing audience in the coming years.
The investment is even more important in view of the fact that Greece is gradually turning into an electric power hub in Southeast Europe. The development of charging infrastructure, the increase in sales of electric models and the entry of new manufacturers create a completely different environment than a few years ago.
For the Tesla, the new facility in Varis – Koropi is more than just another business move. It is a strategic investment that enhances the image of the company in Greece, upgrades services to customers and creates the conditions for the country to have an even more important role in the Tesla map in the wider region of Southeast Europe.
