In absolute balance returns the Athens market, with buyers being consistently superior to the dashboard but with the DG under show pressure.

In particular, the General Index negotiates at 2,614 units without a substantial change and with the turnover at EUR 110 million of which EUR 29.7 million in 8 packages (2 to Eurobank for EUR 23.3 million) and 17 million pieces have been moved.

The banking index moves at 3,065 units with +0.48%, the FTSE of high capitalization at 6,684 single. with no substantial change and the mid-term FTSEM at 3.149 μ. with +0.17%.

In the general picture of the current week, although the turnover was maintained at satisfactory to good levels for the time (EUR 212 million yesterday), the five-day of August is flowing in low tons, with investors primarily engaged in rearrangement of their portfolios.

It is indicative that since Monday the DG has changed only - 0.07%, remaining the last two meetings virtually completely unchanged (-0.03% yesterday after -0.02%), while the DTP is making some profits at +0.37%.

The image is similar today, as an initial mood that sellers showed in the opening focusing mainly on indexed titles (Metlen, Coca Cola, PPC) was quickly responded with selective moves in the opposite direction, which now keep the DG in absolute balance.

At this time when the risk is likely to be maintained internationally, as the evidence of de-escalation showed by inflation in the USA (producer price index at 4.7% in July from 5.5%) allow the margin not to go forward with a rise in interest rates in September.

A critical point on this, of course, will be the course of oil prices when the US shifts their pressure on Iran from the military field to the economic field, with the Ministry of Finance. Bessend talking yesterday about economic isolation "that the world never saw again" and "permanently" exclusion of Iranian ports, in something that raises concerns about energy flows from the Straits of Hormuz.

Moves on the dashboard

After a recovery yesterday at EUR 55.3 (+2%) Coca Cola returns to negative ground with a 1.6% drop to 54.4 and Metlen moves correctively for the third day Metlen to 48.58 to -1.7%.

However, this is offset by the strong rise of the two refineries, Motor Oil at 54.3 euros with +3.3% and Helleniq Energy at 14.6 to +3% moving for a fourth meeting strongly upward, having Optima at +2,7%.

Strong support for the DG is also provided by the EIB with +1.8%, while in the remaining systemic changes are extremely limited, Piraeus with a marginal rise and Alpha and Eurobank with a marginal fall.

A typical of the day, however, is the turnover of EUR 29.2 million in Eurobank due to two packages for a total of 5.2 million pieces of the bank that changed hands to EUR 4.48 (2.6 million sq mi) and EUR 4.49 (2.6 million sq mi), i.e. at levels where it is currently negotiating (4.49). The total value of the transactions was EUR 23,3 million.

In mid caps stands Furlis who rallies 5.5% at 4.41 euros with a turnover of 680 thousand euros, while Krie fixes with -2.3% after the jump 4.25% yesterday and Ideal with -1.9% after her own + 4.3%.

Throughout the board the buyers have an expanded lead, as 53 shares move up against 41 pitches.

The image internationally

Oil prices have re-deleted their morning profits and are now moving stabilizingly, even though Washington and Tehran have raised the tones in their rhetoric.

Similarly, European gas is traded at EUR 60.9 per megawatt hour with +0.8%.

In the shares, the contracts of the American indices move with minor changes in a different direction after an upward meeting yesterday on Wall Street (wins up to 0.8% Nasdaq).

Dow Jones' futures at -0.1%, S&P 500 at +0.1% and Nasdaq at +0.2%.

In Europe indicators move stabilisingly basically except Frankfurt.

German DAX at +0.85%, French CAC 40, British FTSE 100 and Italian FTSE MIB without substantial changes, Spanish IBEX 35 at +0.2% and the pan-European high capitalisation of Stoxx 50 at +0.3%.

In the bond market yields have slightly upward aligned with the oil's course. The ten-year US at 4.64%, the German title at 3.16% and the French at 3.97%, with the Greek at 3.80%.
