The Ministry of Environment and Energy added an additional 37,000 households to the program «Changing Heating and water heater system», with a total subsidy of over EUR 125 million. Among young beneficiaries are over 1,700 people from vulnerable social groups, highlighting the social character of the initiative. Beneficiaries are invited to commit their cheques by 30 May 2026 and cash them by 25 June 2026. The program aims to provide clean and energy efficient heating solutions to citizens from all over Greece.

The Ministry of Environment and Energy (RIS) went on to publish the 2nd and 3rd final table approved applications the programme «Changing Heating and water heater system», joining more than 37,000 citizens across the country.
The total maximum subsidy (resource commitment) for these new applications is more than EUR 125 million. Please note that more than 1,700 young beneficiaries come from vulnerable social groups, which highlights its essential social character «Changing Heating and water heater system» and its targeting on the fair energy transition.
The RIS initiative highlights the State's commitment to sustainable and socially fair development, offering all citizens, from urban centres to the most remote areas, access to clean, modern and energy efficient heating and hot water solutions.
The Ministry invites beneficiaries to be informed of the status of their application through the platform and to select the authorised supplier and equipment that meets their needs through the official Suppliers and Equipment Registers, which are available on the Programme's digital platform: https://allazosistimathermansis-thermosifona.gov.gr/go-beyond/
The final date for freezing the cheques of the 2nd and 3rd decision of accession shall be 30.5.2026. The final date for redemption of cheques 2nd and 3rd registration decision (and redemption requests) shall be 25.6.2026.
