Of course as always there are the... usual «distortions», as out of aid, for example, families in which both parents happen to work as employees - and thus «exhibit» normally their income in the IRS - if they provide decent wages. On the contrary, they will enter from «window» persons who know how to «hide» income.
«Double profit» for pensioners
Starting with pensioners, on the basis of the relevant communications, the annual financial aid of EUR 250 - established on a permanent basis - is increasing from November to EUR 300.
But the number of beneficiaries will also increase, given that income limits are increasing.
In particular, beneficiaries of the aid will be retired over 65 years with an annual family income of up to 25,000 euros (from EUR 14,000 today) if they are single and up to EUR 35,000 (from 26.000) if they are married/part of a symbiosis pact.
At the same time, the value of their property should not exceed 300,000 euros (from 200,000 euros today) if they are single and 400,000 euros (from 300,000) if they are married.
The amount of EUR 300 will be received this November and those who are disabled pensioners of the EPKA and the beneficiaries of disability benefits from OPECA, uninsured seniors, as well as beneficiaries of extra-institutional allowance granted by the EPCA.
It should be noted here that the age limit does not apply to disabled persons, i.e. the allowance will be paid to them, regardless of whether they are over or under 65.
However, the income and property criterion also applies in these cases.
Who'll get the 150-euro allowance?
An emergency allowance of 150 euros will be received shortly before their summer holidays of nearly 1 million households numbering about 3 million members: The aid will be granted without any application at the end of June and will concern families with children covering almost 80% of this group.
However, their family income should be shaped for single persons up to:
- 39,000€ for 1 child
- 44,000€ for 2 children
- 49,000€ for 3 children
- 54,000€ for 4 children
- 59,000€ for 5 children
- 64,000€ for 6 children and above
And for married men, up to:
- 40,000€ for 1 child
- 45,000€ for 2 children
- 50,000€ for 3 children
- 55,000€ for 4 children
- 60,000€ for 5 children
- 65,000€ for 6 children and above
What changes for its beneficiaries «Rent refund»
The perimeter of infamous beneficiaries «Rent refund» It is expanding as income limits increase. Specifically:
- A maximum income limit of 25,000 euros (from 20,000 euros today) is set for the single person.
- A maximum family income limit of EUR 35,000 (from EUR 28,000) is set for married or part of a cohabitation agreement, increased by EUR 5,000 (from EUR 4,000) for each child.
- For single-parent families a maximum family income limit of 39,000 euros (from 31,000 euros today), increased by 5,000 euros for each extra child beyond the first.
The maximum refund for the main residence shall be EUR 800, plus EUR 50 for each dependent child of the tenant. The maximum refund for the student residence shall also be EUR 800.
The aid is tax-free, unconditional and irrevocable in the hands of the State or third parties, does not commit and is not offset by debts secured to the tax administration and the State in general, legal persons governed by public law, local authorities and their legal persons, insurance funds and providers.
