Although the exact amount to be paid is still known, because the audit of the findings carried out by the competent authorities is that few are left behind.
As regards the final clearance for the floods of September 2023 (Daniel and Elias) what the Agency's managers stress is that the audit of the findings has begun and the speed of payment depends on whether producers have completed their obligation to restore the plant capital. The deadline for producers to complete the rehabilitation procedures is 30 September 2027.

It is recalled that last December the ELGA had advanced to the 60% advance of the value of the findings, so the remaining 40% is pending. The initial budget requested is EUR 35 million, but what is being transferred is that this figure may be changed depending on the course of evaluation of the findings.
The aid price
On the basis of the relevant FEK, the amount of the aid shall be determined on the basis of the individual estimates (estimation results) and the restoration check findings by the geotechnical employees of ELGA, following cross-checks with the IACC and other data from ELGA, as well as on the basis of a final estimate and serious damage. The final estimate/base value per loss severity is determined as follows:
(a) For olive trees, peanut shells and free planting figs in one hundred and sixty (160,00) euros per free planting tree for olive trees, peanut shells and fig trees and as five thousand six hundred (5,600,00) euros per acre regardless of serious damage;
(b) for densely planted olive trees EUR 60 (60,00) per tree and up to EUR 5 thousand six hundred (5,600,00) per acre regardless of the serious damage;
(c) other free planting crops in one hundred and ten (110,00) euros per free planting tree and as five thousand six hundred (5,600,00) euros per acre regardless of the serious damage;
(d) for palm trees in 50 (50,00) euros per tree and as five thousand six hundred (5,600,00) euros per acre regardless of the severity of damage;
(e) for vines at three thousand five hundred EUR (3,500,00) per acre;
for kiwi in six thousand two hundred (EUR 6,200,00) per acre;
(g) for small fruits (aronia, raspberries, goji berry, hippophaes, blueberries, raspberries, etc.) in four thousand (4,000,00) euros per acre;
(h) for aromatic plants in a thousand two hundred fifty (1,250,00) EUR per acre;
(i) for midage in EUR 200,00) per acre of total damaged midget.
The aid price for main occupation farmers and legal persons shall be as follows:
· 70% of the base price for total destruction, i.e. for grubbing-replanting operations,
· 50% of the base price for medium-scale damage, i.e. for trunking operations,
· 35% of the base price for primary cutting operations;
· 35% of the base price for non-productive trees, and defined as a maximum grant amount per acre, regardless of serious damage
For non-professional farmers, the above percentages are reduced by 50%.
The necessary condition for receiving aid from professional farmers was to qualify as «by profession» in the MAAE or as newly introduced farmers for the year 2023, have submitted the EAE to the IACC for the damaged parcels for the year 2023 and for the years 2025 and 2026, as appropriate, but also have fulfilled the obligation to pay the special insurance contribution to the ELGA for the year 2023.
