This is the case – mainly – because most car manufacturers do not produce small cars, as they have a much smaller profit margin in them, so they are unprofitable.
On the other hand, hybrid models had the first reason in sales, since a total of 55.2% of Greeks preferred to buy a car that would have hybrid technology, which reduces fuel consumption and pollutants.
The sales of plug-in hybrid cars remained stable, gathering 5.3%, while the sales of gasoline and diesel vehicles were reduced.
Electrical
Slightly upwards were the sales of electric cars, occupying a total of 6.9%, with the tendency in the future to extract an even greater percentage because now the autonomy has grown and the infrastructure has improved.
All this at the time the state subsidy continues, helping significantly to obtain it.
Finally, the rise of gasoline in recent weeks has led many to choose a dual-fuel car. The sales percentage in the category was 2%.
