Posted today (27.8.2026) final tables I'm entitled(ii) the Commission's proposal for a Directive on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to turnover taxes; DYPA (Public Employment Service), as well as the Providers' Register.
The provisional tables currently published by DYPA include the beneficiaries of the programme for 150,000 book purchase cheques worth 25 euros each, with total a budget of EUR 3,75 million.
The programme will be implemented from 1 September to 31 December 2026.
It is noted that the programme has so far been involved 818 booksellers and publishing houses, and requests from providers continue.
The check in the form of a unique e-code. With it, beneficiaries and beneficiaries may purchase any book they choose from the booksellers and publishing houses of the Providers Register, with the exception of school books of all educational grades, which are granted free of charge by the Ministry of Education and other public bodies. For all books a discount of at least 10%, except for foreign languages.
