The 63-year-old designer, whose property is estimated at about $200 million, recently experienced an unexpectedly awkward moment when a saleswoman in his own shop did not recognize him.

Jacobs recorded the meeting and shared a video in which he shows him shopping in a boutique bearing his name within a duty free airport.
