The additional payment of EUR 150 per child will be made for beneficiaries who did not receive the aid in the initial payment.
New payment EUR 150 per child is expected until 31 August, with the aid relating to families who had not received the amount in the first payment.
The additional payment relates to children born from 1 January 2025 to 31 July 2026. This is not a new application cycle, as payment will automatically be made to the beneficiaries.
What parents should notice
For children born in 2025, the basic condition is to have been declared as dependent members in the tax return of the tax year 2025. At the same time, the child's AMKA and the valid IBAN should be properly registered in the AADE.
The reason several families had not received the money in the initial payment was that children born in 2025 could not appear in the tax return of 2024.
For children born in 2026, a request for VAT to be issued by 10 August is required. The necessary comparison is then made with the social security fund in order to proceed with payment if the other conditions are met.
The procedure does not require a separate request for the collection of EUR 150. The money will automatically be credited to the registered bank account of the beneficiaries.
